McGregor village

In the heart of the Breede River Valley lies the quaint town of McGregor.  It is special for a number of reasons .....it has preserved it's historic village image, it has an energy that people love, is a town full of healers  and has been voted the safest town in South Africa

The Loft

is situated in the town but on the outskirts of McGregor village overlooking the veld and distant mountains.  It is a quiet spacious self catering apartment that can accommodate 4 people, preferably 2 adults and 2 children. The Loft has an ensuite bathroom, a downstairs fully equipped kitchen and dining area.

......  within easy walking distance of the village centre with its numerous top-class restaurants/pubs and eating places. Although not many shops are found in this little town,  you will find ...... a well stocked health shop;  a butchery that keeps the best karoo lamb;  excellent restaurants:  gift shops: a dress shop and many art galleries. Even a  Pilates studio is found in the centre of town !  Bikes can be hired for scenic and safe bike rides around the farming areas.  Walking is a favourite pastime to all McGregorites and visitors, and a challenging 5 hour walk to Grayton over the mountain is a must to the energetic fitness fanatic.  For those who want peace and quiet, McGregor is  famous for the wonderful " Retreat centre of Temenos",  with its peaceful beautiful gardens, offering a variety of different and alternative therapies, a meditation well and a chance to go within.
